Excellent tool for professional writers and editors

ProWritingAid is the best cloud-based machine-learning grammar-checking and copyediting solution on the market. They had a lifetime deal some time back. I was impressed enough to buy one and I never regretted it.The thing about such cloud-based solutions is that they are slow in processing lengthy documents. The reason is because of the application of machine learning on cloud servers to predict the incorrect parts. Computational requirements go up tremendously with lengthy documents and ...

I recently tested a trial version of grammar checker. Compared to other tools, this one is a bit tricky to use. But I'm almost used to it and use it on an ongoing basis along with other grammar tools. You can use the free version further, but there are restrictions on word checking, i.e. if you have a large text, then you will need to split it and check it in several parts.

ProWritingAid: A Writer's Best Friend

What do you like best? For a little context, I'm an author, so I'm very picky about the things I use to help make my writing as good as it can be. I was sold out for Grammarly (still am, but now only using the free version) until I finally caved and did a two week trial for PWA. This program is robust. It has an extremely comprehensive report that details out the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of your writing, and there are many different reports you can run if you choose to really ...

Great correction!

What do you like best? I love how simple it is to use, all onem ust do is click on a word and pronto you have the option of correcting your errors. The requirement to click was a feature that I appreciated. I used to use Grammarly and it irritated me how if you moused over things they would pop up. This slight change has been very appreciated. It also makes amazing corrections around the uses of passives. Apparently I have a bad habit of using for too many passives. This helps me to ...

Always there for me without being annoying ;-).

What do you like best? I best like that for a quick pulse check there are comprehensive reports just a click away. What do you dislike? I dislike that document load time is much slower for larger files. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I'm being kept accountable to make my writing clearer.

Wonderful way to ensure you are writing at your best.

What do you like best? The fact that it integrates with any app you happen to open. Email, Facebook, etc. Corrects mistakes on webpages as you type. Perfect how you present yourself to others and get this app. What do you dislike? It is a little pricey yet for the money you spend, you are able to present your ideas and thoughts to the world and it will be professional, crisp and polished. It is money well spent. Recommendations to others considering the product: This is the ...

Excellent for writers

What do you like best? Really helpful in finding complex gramatical errors and quickly correcting them. What do you dislike? Free version doesn't function in every online writing field. Recommendations to others considering the product: If using as a plug-in, pair with Grammarly for free and fuller coverage. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I have a terrible habit of using passive voice instead of active voice. ...

ProWritingAid makes editing quick and easy

What do you like best? One of the best features of ProWritingAid is the MS Word plug-in. Since I do most of my writing in MS Word, this saves me tons of time. I don't have to copy and paste documents or upload them anywhere to enjoy the benefits of a full featured document editing program. What do you dislike? The newest features are rolled out to the online version first (which I rarely use). I wish the company would be quicker about ensuring the Word plug-in matched the online ...
