Possible security issue?

I tried three times unsuccessfully to log onto my free email account earlier today. On each occasion after giving the correct details, an anti-robot device popped up which asked me to move a ‘jigsaw’ piece to a part of a photograph and then press ‘Next’. I did this accurately on three occasions and the system took me back to the start of the log-on process each time; I simply could not progress. However, I returned later and did successfully gain access to my email account using just my ...

When I first made my account I had…

When I first made my account I had selected to make my username.com not .me, well some sort of glitch must’ve happened because it made my account .me. so I sent them an email saying can I change it or just delete it and reset the first day I got no answer. The next day I sent an email…. Then the next… then the next. Until day five, when someone finally answered me back with a total non-answer. Something along the lines of “we see you tried to delete it”. Yeah… very resourceful Sherlock lol. ...

Personal datas held hostages

I've had no real issue with protonmail until my paypal payment became obsolete & I needed to update my new bank card details. Very common topic here. Not when you are dealing with Protonmail. They will keep forever your obsolete paypal authorization with no resolution possible, unless you register directly your personal card details into their website, which I will never do. So, your personal datas are held hostages with no resolution possible. They ask you to generate a ticket to get a ...

Not using Proton yet but having had two other e-mail accounts blocked because I was on holiday in Saigon, Viet Nam - were both of them (U.K. & U.S. owned) obliged by law to do so ? so how can I be sure that the same won't happen with Proton ?

Good product

Good product. The VPN alone with the Unlimited account is worth the cost alone and you don't have Google trackers to deal with in your mail account. Highly recommended!!

Customers constantly paying the loyalty tax

Existing customers are consistently given poor deals compared with new users. As an existing customer I am sent deals with offers but when I try to proceed I am told that the offer is not available to me. It’s unethical, poor practice and in the UK illegal in some industries. In additon the cyber deal of 33% off for 12 months works out significantly more than the standard price for 24 months, another terrible deal. When my subscription runs out I will not renew.
