I've been using Proton Mail & their VPN (not paid) for around 2 years or so. I've never had ANY issues regarding their platform. I'm very satisfied and will continue using them.

When security and privacy matters...

I'm very satisfied with protonmail/VPN/Calendar/Storage. I've been using it daily since it was launched. Security & Privacy feels like something they prioritize highly. So in my opinion it's a service worth paying for. I love it !

Well above the rest

I have been using Proton Mail now for almost 5 years, not one issue. Privacy on the internet has never been of much importance to people but it is to me, this is a major step in the right direction. I have a free account, I have a paid account. These people put out great products and I couldn't be more excited for whats in the pipeline.

The level of security and privacy they offer is unparalleled, and their user interface is intuitive and easy to use. The fact that they are based in Switzerland and subject to some of the strongest privacy laws in the world gives me even more peace of mind. I work in cybersecurity and I've been using ProtonVPN as well as ProtonMail for a few years now, and I've had a great experience. I like the level of privacy that comes with Proton products. I recommend this for my friends and family.

Great service - but If you really like yoogle or gahoo just go and use them.

After 5 y. I can say that this is an amazing service; I don't know why they have such a bad reputation. Compared with others email providers - Proton rocks. Not sure for VPN as I use other service already. I also have some problems on android 4.1 - they force users to update app cause of the security reasons, but which doesn't support older android. Ok, it is good for all - privacy on the first place. After I upgrade my android everything is just fine. I am on free sub. and plan to stay on ...
