A much needed upgrade to the email experience.

Helped me take the plunge and de-clutter my email experience. Using Proton I was able to connect my other email addresses (Gmail) and keep track of junk email (promotions, subscribe lists, old newsletters) that I never opened anyway. Their "Unsubscribe" button works wonders, and as an added bonus, I am now feeling much more secure about my data being protected on the internet.

Be careful with this company with your data and your money!

They have free email, I don’t think this company is who they seem. I bought a 25$ sub And it was processed on the wrong card so I went to PayPal which I went to first and they couldn’t change the payment method which was all I wanted. I was already paying customer with another account for years, but that doesn’t matter. So after I did a dispute they Locked me out of my account and said they were a “refund friendly” company and would give me a refund if I canceled the dispute. (Extortion ...

Held account hostage

Subscribed to ProtonVPN two year plan and I was happy with the service. However, they refuse to allow the user to disable auto renewal and didn't feel like giving me any warnings at all when it was about to happen. They tried to charge a non valid card and proceeded to hold my account hostage until I paid. They had the nerve to lie on Reddit about how they conduct business similar to Netflix and Spotify, but those subscription services do not have year long plans and they do not hold ...

I have been with Protonmail for 5 years…

I have been with Protonmail for 5 years now. I am really happy I switched from Gmail. This service has everything you need, is very secure, the app is great both on mobile and PC. Also when you have the Unlimited package that includes ProtonVPN, ProtonPass etc you will have unlimited aliases to hide your identity and prevent spam. THE WORST EMAIL SUPPORT EVER!!

The worst email support ever!! There's no phone number to call, so your only option is to open an online support ticket. I lost my password, and I've been locked out of my account for days. I opened a support ticket right away and finally got a response after three days!! I replied to their request for information this morning. It's now ten hours later, and I'm still waiting for a reply. Am I supposed to wait another three days? This is outrageous and totally unacceptable! You shouldn't ...

They have locked me out of my account…

They have locked me out of my account less than 10 days after an overdue invoice. Cannot access my email, none of my historic, I can't even access the email to downgrade the account. Even their site says I've got 28 days to sort it out... I emailed support the moment I saw the notice, which is the banner on the site, not a notification/email to you so if you don't login you don't see it. Support emailed back quick enough to tell me that they are not doing anything. I'd asked for a few ...
