Total disaster

Total disaster. They cancelled my service yesterday - there was a card issue. That's on me. I fixed that and immediately paid to restore the service. Payment was cleared by my bank. However, hours later I was still waiting for service to resume. At this point they'd removed all of my custom domain and alias settings - so no way to receive emails. Things obviously bouncing, which causes all kinds of headaches. My bank told me Proton had reversed the transaction. So I paid again - indeed ...

It works great for what I need to do…

It works great for what I need to do (just read and send emails). No ads disguised as emails. The system also has strong privacy features and checks emails for dangerous files or attachments. The storage space that they provide is more than adequate for my daily email needs. Overall, considering that they are not a gigantic company I've been really impressed with the platform.

DO NOT USE PROTON MAIL!!!!!!!!!!!! THE REVIEWS ARE REAL FOR A REASON!!!!!!

ProtonMail? More like ProtonFail. I never thought I'd be writing a scathing review about an email service, but here I am, utterly disappointed and frustrated. Let me tell you about my nightmare experience. I trusted ProtonMail with my entire digital life - emails containing personal conversations, important documents, and sensitive information. I woke up one morning to find my account disabled without any warning or explanation. Panic ensued as I realized that I had essentially been locked ...

Reconsider trusting or recommending ProtonMail

ProtonMail has just proved they should not have anyone's trust, as they just went against and took back their own policy, for no reasons other than financial benefits. This type of behavior gives precedent to virtually any shady, unethical, corrupt action from them that you can imagine. For a long time until recently, it used to be ProtonMail's official policy that any user who had ever subscribed to any of their plans for any amount of time, would be forever exempt from account deletion ...

I've tried many Email providing…

I've tried many Email providing services through the years (both free and paid) but none of them worked properly, that's why I kept searching for a better one and I'm so happy I found ProtonMail as it works great for me.

This account has been suspended by an automated anti-abuse system

In January, I created a free email account to register for the game "Black Desert". Recently when trying to log into my account, I received an error message stating that my account had been suspended by an automated anti-abuse system. I'm totally confused about what's going on, because I haven't done anything wrong. I guess using a VPN to create an account could be considered "abusive behavior". I tried contacting their support and they said I could only get temporary read-only access for ...

They locked my account

They locked my account and refuse to unlock it. It turns out that while I was a prisoner, someone hacked into my account and used it. They're texting me about some credit cards. I didn't have internet in prison, there was no way I could use my email at that time. Now because of them I can't get into my social media, bank account. Stay away from them, they are scammers. My request - 2786332 update 9 april Like I said, they turned me down again. They are very loyal to you here, but tech ...
