I used Protonmail for my Lineage 2 games so I could sign onto the game. That is all I used them for. Never abused or did anything wrong or untoward. They suspended them out of the blue stating I violated TOS. I looked at their TOS, point by point, and not a single point was violated. I reached out to them again and asked exactly what point in TOS did I violate and they either would not, or could not, tell me. Excellent experience with Email

Excellent experience with Email, Drive, VPN over two years. Generally easy to use, although difficulties with logging on initially, and using VPN with Firefox . Prompt support. Be helpful if invoices were emailed to customers automatically.

This is an overall critique of protonmail. It's free so I can't complain too much. It's not user friendly in my opinion. The scroll bar is way too thin....and everytime you delete an email you get this annoying pop up that informs you that you just deleted an email. You either take the time to close it or it sits on your screen for too long blocking your view of your other emails...so you are trying to clean up your emails and it slows you down to the point where you get disgusted and quit. ...

Their customer service agents are liars They do not reply to emails. They pretend to have an "automated anti-abuse system".. they dont. Proton mail is a scam and they will block you from accessing you emails whenever they want. Do NOT use.

What do you like best about Protonmail? Protonmail gives secure end to end encryption for emails. Proton also has calender and VPN services in its suit of services for easier integration with mail service. We can also easily sends attachments with large size via email. Thousands of dollars of crypto - stolen by proton

My account has been disabled. I am unable to access thousands of dollars worth of crypto in my wax wallet because the my protonmail account is connected to it. I have contacted wax.io and they have confirmed I can only access my crypto wallet with the email. They suggested that I contact proton to forward the emails, but they will not do it. I have everything connected to those email accounts, some of them I can sort out but it is a pain. Amazon, paypal... Everything I have to try to sort out.

Pretty good, don't know what the fuss is about.

Going to be honest I am pretty surprised at such a negative review profile. I have been a paid-for subscriber for maybe five years now and never had an issue. I have rarely needed support but when I have had support it has been reasonable. I am not a heavy user at all, but do value the privacy and am delighted to find there is now a Proton Drive app. The webmail interface leaves a little to be desired, that would be my main complaint.
