What do you like best? Prophix is very much a Finance-Administered application without an Excel front-end (but easily exported to Excel). We are much less dependent on IT and more efficient. The application is point and click intuitive for non-financial users. Staging data from SAP and other sources has been fairly straightforward to implement. What do you like best about Prophix Software? Prophix can easily integrate data from disparate systems to create more meaningful analysis and reports. Each data set alone only tells part of the story. Powerful insights can be gained when combining the data. What do you like best about Prophix Software? Flexibility and ease for ad hoc data views, The user can quickly get at the data they want and pull it into tools like Excel. What do you like best about Prophix Software? I like the graphical interface and how easy it makes otherwise complicated process like allocating costs. The Ad-hoc environment has greatly increased our ability to investigate variances and drill into reasons for certain financial results. What do you dislike about Prophix Software? What do you like best? ease of seeing data in ad hoc ease of creating reports What do you dislike? cannot copy headings in ad hoc template studio functionalities not yet excel compatible What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The ease of changing prophix report formats vs changing source system report format is hugely beneficial as we do not have to rely on IT to make the change. We created prophix reports to replace manual excel reports.
