Prolific Reviews in April 2025: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

Amazing!

I signed up to Prolific on June 19th, and it has taken me a week to earn over £10. This is one of the best survey website’s ive found. 100% worth signing up for! I’m yet to cash out but i will do on Tuesday on their “pay days.” Great website guys, keep it up!

It went well for the first 4 days

It went well for the first 4 days, then right when i was about to reach my $5 threshold all studies stopped coming. You cannot contact them until you haven't received any study for TWO MONTHS. I participated in a two part study and I received a message that the second part of the study was ready so I went to my studies tab and there were no studies there. The researcher sent me a link to go to and I completed the second part of the study. This did not show up on my studies at all. The ...

Pointless, no studies

It used to be good but you cant do any studies anymore, they literally go instantly, awful app!

One of the best legit websites

One of the best sites for survey studies out there. Surveys pay great and they are actually fun to do. I've cashed out almost $100 cdn already, it's been nice since the payout is in GBP. Highly recommended!

not worth it

i've been using the site for 2 weeks and have only managed to do 4 surveys.. very poor. lots of surveys appear with '1 place remaining', which you cannot get onto. i don't understand how are the other participants manage to get onto them? there are barely any surveys, i haven't been paid more than around 50p-£1 each time and it takes a while for them to be approved. it's a shame as the surveys are relatively interesting and enjoyable (if you are able to get on one).

I've been a member of Prolific for nearly two years and have only positive experiences so far. The studies available are interesting as they tend to be dissertation or PhD research, and it also feels more worthwhile due to this. The site also pays well for the studies completed, and it is very easy to cash out via Paypal. I would say that the studies tend to fill up very quickly recently (most likely due to the current virus situation), so you need to keep the site up at all times and ...
