Was good but becoming unimpressed with time

Was very good, probablt the best around, but increasingly over the last few days, and after the last few 'prolific upgrades' finding that surveys 1) only appear once they're fully subscribed, this applies to both the web interface AND the prolific Notifier add-on 2) When you click on several, the browser screen just blanks, pressing F5 to refresh results in no surveys shown 3) If you actually get as far as accessing a survey that isn't fully subscribed then you're told you are not eligible, ...

Love It!

Prolific has high-quality and high-paying surveys. I'm rarely disqualified because the surveys I receive are based on the demographic information I provided in my profile. I receive my payments in a timely manner. The surveys are enjoyable. It's impossible to make a living on Prolific, but it's a good way to earn extra money.

Not good enough....

I completed 50 surveys in good faith for this company. All seemed fine until I tried to cash out the £58.06 earned only to discover my account was suddenly 'on hold'. On querying this with the Prolific support department, I received the following standard response: "We carry out various types of automated checks on accounts to improve data quality. I found Prolific after someone mentioned it on a forum. The person praised it a lot, so I decided to check it out so I can write a review on it on my blog. So, I signed up and filled out the information about me, made sure all questions were answered. My aim was to try it for a month and record my progress. LOVE Prolific. GREAT customer support. Honest researchers who will reply to your email messages. Interesting surveys. Fair and honest pay practices. I have nothing at all negative to report about this company. They are simply the very best!! (PS - I don't work for Prolific. I don't know anyone who does. My review is true and objective.)

Becoming a joke

So after having my account put on hold once for 'undisclosed reasons' I submitted my passport to prove I am me, had the account unblocked and did studies for about a week longer - then the studies stopped again, no 'account on hold' notification, zero communication. Then I take the initiative and contact them again asking what's going on 'yeah instead of us not liking YOU, this time we've decided we don't like your ISP and you're blocked again'. They banned my account right after I created it... without telling me why, because they can't. I didn't do anything wrong.

Until now very serious and honest company which is delivering what they are promising. A total different approach to eSurveys. Nevertheless the payment is still laughable , but you can kill some time. I don’t know if it’s worth it.

Prolific is a serious site

Prolific is a serious site, unlike many others that promise tons of surveys but they are completely unrelated to your profile. I'm a member since March, so I had time to try it. I was able to take part in interesting studies on different topics: socio-economic, psychological, market studies and many more. Once you reach the £5 threshold you can cash out your payment. I am 100% satisfied, thank you Prolific!
