Bad Service, Bad Service, BAADD SERVICE.
I once loved Prolific, used to do studies on this program all the time, but now, I stopped recieving studies in my dashboard for a matter of 5 MONTHS. After that I emailed them saying what was wrong, they basically stated that the have made the decision "Final" that they have kicked me off of Prolific through automated review, and manual review on my account. Not paying right amount & deducting pay!
Prolific have a VERY BAD habit of NOT PAYING THE RIGHT AMOUNT! They constantly keep deducting my approved studies by 1p! Just took one today and I was meant to get paid 45p but instead prolific paid me 44p! Absolutely ridiculous. Altogether they owe me 9p. (I have pinned all the approved study emails which show they have not paid me the right amount). Now this amount will keep going up if they carry on deducting! It’s getting extremely pi** taking as I spend a lot of time on these studies ...

Fantastic site
Only been with prolific for about 9 months but so far this is an excellent company. Rewards are by and large very fair, you will go through periods of not having any surveys to suddenly getting 3 or 4 of them. Happy to be a member and can't see why theres so many negative comments as they are a consistent payer.

I would not recommend
The day I set up the account no studies came up so I decided to ask them if it was normal and I got this response I'm afraid you cannot participate in further studies on Prolific because your account has failed one or more of these checks. We are unable to disclose further information about these checks. I’ve never even done any studies this was day one of setting it up.

I don't recommend the site, when the surveys didn't come 2 months I decided to write to them asking if there is anything wrong with my account and their support wrote me off Thanks for getting in touch. We carry out various types of automated checks on accounts to improve data quality. do not bother with prolific.ac
Been doing surveys with this company for a couple of years and never had any problems with surveys being rejected .The company has suddenly started employing more people and all of a sudden my surveys suddenly stop .I had nothing for 3 months so emailed them only to be giving some ridiclous excuse .Thanks for getting in touch. Another ISP "not approved" issue
I'm another participant who can no longer see studies or participate in them, apparently because my ISP is not on their currently approved list. It took me a while to realise, although I had noticed that I was not receiving studies. When I had a Jim invitation and tried to participate I received the error message relating to my ISP. I have raised a support case, but have no expectation of a positive response having read others experiences. I won't be changing my ISP. If I turn wifi off on ...

Dropped From Prolific with No Reason Given
On September 1, 2020, I joined Prolific and, over the course of the next eight weeks or so, I participated in a little over 100 studies. Starting in November, I noticed that that no surveys were being offered to me. Late last week, one of their clients sent me a message encouraging me to participate in part two of a survey I had taken earlier. Submissions rejected
I have been told several times that my submissions have been rejected. Sometimes I’m told that I did the survey too quickly, and that I could not possibly have completed it in this time, and at other times I’m told I have taken too long. All in all, hours of wasted time.

Unhelpful changes - very unimpressed
As both a researcher and a participant, prolific WAS good. Brilliant access to participants and also a good range of studies to participate in. But, it has now decided to limit IP addresses to the 'big' companies. So, as a resident of Hull & East Riding where we can't use one of the 'big' broadband providers, both my research and my participation is now disadvantaged.
