I’m absolutely appalled

I’m absolutely appalled! Like most people I started off great! Made about £40 loved it! And enjoyed all the surveys and spend 1 or more hours on doing them. Then all of a sudden they stop happening and I email asking why. Well apparently I failed an automated check! And they continue to tell me that I can never make a new account and how their decision is final. Stay away!

Everything was going good for a while but they randomly deleted my account according to "system checks" which doesn't make sense because nothing changed about my situation. I’m surprised at the low ratings. I like this survey site, there are quite a few interesting studies. I think the key is to give honest opinions, give the surveys your full attention and not lie about anything in your profile. Once payment approved by researchers, the payout is pretty prompt to your PayPal account. No point to it

No point to it. I did few services then got logged out midway through one and now I can’t log back in. I’ve resent my password but continue to get directed back to the same log in page. I’ve emailed customer support but no answer. Seems they want you to do a few surveys then block your account before receiving the funds owed.

Non payment

I have had an account with Prolific for a few months and have accumulated £35.00 I then took another survey which they rejected and now will not pay me the £35.00 which I have earned. How many people do they do this to. They take your views and use them but keep the money. Is this fraud? You have sent me a generic reply which you send to everyone who has experienced the same situation. I have earned the money you owe me. You are just crooks.

Is it worth it?

I've just signed up for this after seeing other positive reviews for the company. I have done a few surveys so far. A couple have been paid and others are pending. I just can't help but feel that I'm selling myself for literally pennies. They just want so much from you and you even have to prove yourself with ID and send selfies face on and from both sides. Is it really worth it for 43p? I'm going to give it a few weeks to see if it improves.
