I suddenly stopped getting surveys- after a couple of months of not receiving any as per the guidelines I contacted them. I was told I had been subjected to an automatic review and I was now banned from Prolific. I have no idea why and they won’t be specific. PLEASE DONT BOTHER TO JOIN PROLIFIC. HOW CAN YOU BE SCRUTINISED AND NOT BE TOLD AND THEN BE TOLD THATS IT ACCOUNT CLOSED. I think they gain information about you close your account and then sell details to other parties.

It is a good site generally but I'm having mixed feelings about it because of its lack of communication.

I had high hopes about this site since I've been doing surveys with them for a short while with no problems, but after reading some responses here, I AM getting concerned. I haven't been getting surveys for some time now, I am worried, it is said that the company doesn't communicate if your account is banned so I'm just here not knowing what do think.

Disrespect for the participant and problems with activating the account.

In order to participate in the surveys, you must pass the verification (according to the regulations, the maximum time for activation is 14 working days). I waited for activation for almost 4 weeks, and when I was a bit nervous during the second attempt to contact them and I said a few stronger words, one member of the help started threatening me to block me (by what right, if support does not have such powers?) . The account was set up on April 29, I had the first few surveys on May 25, ...

Be carefull using prolific

I created the account and answered all the queestions they had to improve researches, 2 weeks passed and I didn't received any study, so I decided to contact the support team. They said my account has failed the automated tests and manual review and my account will never receive studies. I never received any email about this case and they are keeping all my personal data. Be carefull using this website

Great site

The surveys are interesting and often really educational. Being a psychology geek, I love taking a part in them. Earnings are paid within seconds in my paypal account. The only criticism I have is that sometimes devices you can take a survey are not listed accurately. Most of the time I can take computer only surveys from my mobile phone, though.

I have used this platform since 2017. I recently started up again as I'm low on money. I have a degree in psychology and understand the significance of accurate data, hence me completing every study in a timely, concentrated and respectful manner. I had a couple of weeks of several studies per week then nothing for 2 months. I emailed after the 2 months because it's what they recommend ,to be told I've been banned, that it's a final decision that's irreversible, and that I cannot find out ...
