The best VPN

All aspects of PrivateVPN worked rapidly and flawlessly. Customer service is highly responsive. I like the choices that you are given for server networks and VPN encryption type. I have tried others and PrivateVPN is the best in my opinion.

Great service!

I had a problem connecting to one of their servers and emailed Support. I got a friendly and helpful response in well under 24 hrs. I was given two possible solutions and luckily the first one worked. Great service!

Private VPN first rate

Had doubts about taking on a VPN and there seemed to be so many to consider. However, because I do all my banking on the internet , I finally decided to go for private VPN to protect my accounts. Wise choice. I admit to being a bit of an internet dummy. No worries, Manish through the help line, guided me.with patience until installation and set up were complete and working to my satisfaction. I have been using their service for…

I have been using their service for bout 20 days now. What is very good with them is that some servers have open ports if you need them but that is only possible on openvpn connection not on L2TP/IPsec. There is also a speed cap on openvpn at 20/30mbs wich is very slow for todays internet. If you want higher speeds you can switch to L2TP/IPsec but then you loose open ports. Over all I give them 4 out of 5 stars cus of speed limit. If that is ok with you I can recommend them.

I am new to VPN services, and skeptical of companies hosted in sketchy jurisdictions, so when I came across a good review of PrivateVPN - hosted in Sweden-I was willing to give it a try.I have a BlackBerry 10 mobile phone, and a BlackBerry Playbook. I've used Private VPN for over six months and it's worked fine. I've been happy with the customer support provided if there were any niggles.

Excellent support

It took just one email reply from Richard to solve my issue and get me connected to the UK. This was achieved in a timely manner, and followed up by Martin, the supervisor, asking for my opinion of the service. Great teamwork.

Works ok but customer service non existent !!!

I was using Hide my A not allowed to say the real name !! which I have for a number of years - very good but become far too pricey....... so checked out for a cheaper alternative and found Private vpn...... Now it works fine and is a perfectly acceptable price 👍. But so far the customer service has been non existent 😚 the “live chat” is a joke - as you write a question and get a “live” answer we will respond by e mail....... so it’s not live chat then !!! Good, reliable VPN service, and best-ever value.

Very easy to set up and get working. I had a few initial questions about different settings and options. These were quickly dealt with via live chat and email. Operators were knowledgeable, patient and polite. Overall, very well specified VPN service, with Netflix and other specialist servers, efficient back-up service, and pretty much unbeatable value for money.
