From good to better
What do you like best? Community are a huge part of who PrestaShop is. Addons modules have a great number of options. The hook strategy is the better option to build great modules and customization, however there are a lot of places where they need to include hooks, maybe everywhere. What do you dislike? They need to improve the api strategies, migrate to a better and modern structure of back/front, integrate quickly the Symfony core and migrate the front to Vue or React. Some ...

Prestashop is great, but their market place, not so much
I have worked with Prestashop since 2012 and I like the platform in itself. The problem comes when a client wants specific features, you turn to the PrestaShop market place:- The module descriptions on the Prestashop addon market place are horrible. - If you ask the developers you often get a vague respond- You purchase a module, and then it turns out it did not work as described if it works at all.- You get none to very little help from developers.- You will get ZERO help from Prestashop ...

Great Platform
What do you like best? As a merchant, I have a love/hate relationship with Prestashop. I’ve been using it for 3+ years across 2 sites…While I think some of the 1-star reviews here are too harsh, I definitely agree that Prestashop is “buggy” when it comes to modules. Modules often conflict with each other and when you contact support there’s an “ownership gap” between Prestashop – The Module Author – Developer/Client. If there’s a problem, generally they all blame each other. But to be ...
