Plivo is great and helpful

Cheap, Simple, but incomplete.
What do you like best? For large projects, the unit economics simply make sense. We chose Plivo over Twilio for economics entirely. The API is very similar to Twilio, so switching was easy. What do you dislike? Thew dashboard feels incomplete. It is very simply, but error logs and integrations feel lacking. Getting there, still some growing pains
What do you like best? They have a large inventory of numbers and are fairly good at acquiring new numbers in harder area codes and internationally. API is easy to work with (see debugging below Support is generally good; especially for the price (free. Has gotten a lot better in the last few months. The new interface is much nicer than the old. Best and cheapest voip provider
What do you like best? Plivo lets you connect via API calls, handling inbound and outbound calls, SMS, etc. It all just works as it should. Their pricing is simple and among the cheapest. Have used their customer support a few times, always with quick, clear answers. What do you dislike? We also run our own freeswitch servers, and there's a few complicated use-cases that we weren't able to achieve using the Plivo API's - but they're fairly unusual, so wouldn't affect many people. Very good experience in the SMS Service.
What do you like best? The service works great and when I was looking for support I got very fast response. What do you dislike? I would like to get some discount for large amount of sms. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sending SMS to client and gets the response by sms.

What do you like best? The cost of the phone integration was great. Easy to use SDKs. What do you dislike? Nothing major really. The support is awesome. I did have one issue with the caller id setup that too some time to address because it was a new issue. But, it got resolved. Recommendations to others considering the product Review the SDKs against your requirements first. Select the right developer up front. Worthwhile experience
What do you like best? The interface is easy to use; adding/removing endpoints, etc. Major time-saver. What do you dislike? There isn't much to dislike, honestly. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're transitioning to full-SIP phone environment primarily for cost savings.

Plivo, the voice platform that could do better
What do you like best? clean web interface , easy to find your way in it - competition has sometime nightmarish web UIs price for sms and for dids seems lower than competition (but this benefit is out-weight by the fact that you have to pay for second call leg ; and the information that you have to pay for that is pretty well hidden in the website.
