HORRIBLE customer service. Created an app, had to test it by sending text messages to my personal phone. Same issue

Same issue. We are about to go live with our website but got a message from Plivo: Our systems have flagged your account, due to which we are unable toprovide you access to our services.I wasted a day to use Plivo API just to learn that I can't use this in our live environments.Plivo, please put this onto your website that you are selective in offering this service and don't provide much explanation about flagging the accounts.

Plivo is a really good telephony integration solution for developers

What do you like best? What makes plivo the best telephony solution for developing you're telecommunication software's is the easiness with which it can be integrated into you're software and the timid and prompt response from the plivo support team. Plivo is great when it works. Extremely frustrating when it doesn't work.

What do you like best? Call globally with the click of a button. I can also see if I've already spoken with a specific number, when I spoke to them, and how many times. Very helpful to avoid making duplicate calls during a shift. What do you dislike? The tech issues are a hassle to resolve. You have to get on a screenshare with a Plivo rep. It was helpful, and the bugs don't happen too often. But having the issues in the first place is really, really annoying. It seems to happen out ...

SMS Service that You Can Count On

What do you like best? Ease of integration and the excellent support. What do you dislike? A more granular and detailed reporting function might be a plus, but I don't have any cons regarding the service. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are using Plivo as the SMS infrastructure for our waiting list notification function. The Toll-Free SMS functionality with carrier white-listing is a must for our service.

Excellent customer service puts you at ease

What do you like best? They are extremely responsive and helpful with their customer service and setup. What do you dislike? None whatsoever. Most SMS verification companies charge similar prices so it's really customer service you're shopping for. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We've been able to successfully use Plivo SMS in order to provide an extra layer of security on our platform.

What do you like best? Very simple and straight forward API. I would honestly change nothing about it. There is also a graphical interface for creating more complex work flows for both text and voice. What do you dislike? Documentation is slightly confusing and there is a lot of overlap. What do you like best? The support staff is always quick to reply and will work with you through every step of the process. What do you dislike? The company seems to have a much smaller collection of numbers available lately and so we often have to put in special requests for porting or sourcing of numbers.
