Great Customer Service
What do you like best? I have to admit that I had a problem when first opening my Plivo account and it working properly in Thailand with a third party app, they were fantastic in dealing with my problem, they kept in constant contact informing what was happening, as it was due to a third party they chased that constantly to ensure that things were resolved, they then resolved the issue and the product is fantastic and extremely useful. What do you like best? Ease of use and integration with Jackrabbit What do you dislike? Cannot respond to their texts in Gmail. Need to go into Jackrabbit and send there. Flawless delivery of SMS Messages!
What do you like best? Simple API, Efficient Server-to-Server communications, Easy dashboard to diagnose delivery issues. What do you dislike? Application setup was was a bit confusing. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I send short notifications of new job assignments to several thousand independent contractors. Delivery reliability is fantastic compare to using SMS email gateways like I was using before.

Extremely easy to set up and use with fantastic support.

Plivo has helped us deliver consistently to our customers, especially in SE Asia
What do you like best? Having tried other vendors, we found Plivo to be easy and customisable, not to mention super reliable too. With our growing number of customers coming in from South East Asia, no other vendor could deliver as consistently as Plivo has. This was the main turn key for us. What do you dislike? Most versatile on-demand SMS Provider/Gateway I've used
What do you like best? Plivo's responsive support is great - they are quick to respond to issues and provide details to on problems. They also offer Vanity IDs (using words instead of numbers) for outbound SMS that allow us to send SMS to users that they can easily identify the sender without having to add a number to their contacts. The speed of the API is good too, handing off a lot of unique SMS can take a while, but it's still faster than many other competing services. What ...

Be wary of their bait and switch…
Be wary of their bait and switch tactics. When you create your account you will see many available phone numbers to purchase. Upon making a payment, thousands of them disappear.I opened 2 accounts, on my paid account I see no availability, on my unpaid account I see many available numbers for the exact same query.

Plivo is Pretty Good, With Great Support
What do you like best? Most of the features from Plivo are pretty good, I especially like the XML applications feature and that i can purchase numbers from various countries in the world and the pricing is very fair especially considering the local competitors can easily charge 5 to 10 times per sms.
