Great support and a very easy to use SMS API

We use Plivo's SMS API for notifications to our customers, so it's important that these messages get to our users in time. We were using another vendor earlier who is much larger (T#*!!*o), but moved over with all our traffic as they clearly have much better support and a simpler API. It was easy to migrate and whenever we have had any delays with delivery the team has been pretty responsive.I would certainly recommend them to others.

Better than most, but room to improve

What do you like best? Worldwide coverage. Easy to use platform. Fast support response. What do you dislike? Texts are priced well but the monthly fee is expensive. The new update has made it more complicated. Recommendations to others considering the product: They are very good but they need improvement as they also charge a monthly fee even though you are charged for texts. What do you like best? Customer service is very responsive and helpful. What do you dislike? Plivo charges rental fee for the short code approval which doesn't make sense as we don't get to use them. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are able to communicate/reach people who don't check emails.

New Start-Up Phone System Success with Plivo and 3CX

What do you like best? The Zentrunk service is easy to setup and the Plivo UI is far superior to any other SIP provider I experimented with when integrating with my hosted 3CX phone system. A flawless experience so far

What do you like best? Very easy to set up and to use. SMS get delivered perfectly. What do you dislike? Outbound messages outside USA and Canada are very expensive. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We run online coding classes and we send class reminders to students as well as other alerts.

Works great and cheaper than most competitors

What do you like best? It works quite well for small to mid-size applications and is cheaper than most competitors. What do you dislike? Sometimes SMS messages don't go through. They are marked as delivered but the recipient does not receive them. Had to "whitelist" the recipients number to get it to work. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Using Plivo to send out load information and dispatch messages in the trucking industry.

TD Review of Plivo

What do you like best? They are really responsive to support questions, and usually can pinpoint where my problem is even if the issues we face are a different provider. The logging and ability to trace issue is very good. What do you dislike? I would love to get 6 minute billing on the full platform.
