Good platform, can be better
Plivo has been improving since we signed up a long time ago. The new console was a bit confusing at the start, but we have now gotten used to it. We are happy with the platform but the sales team is pretty pushy.There are places where Plivo can improve like documentation, additional features on the console and a leave us alone sales team.I would have given a 4 stars for this review, but giving 5 to balance all the nasty reviews which seem very non-genuine.

Very Reliable API Platform
I first used Plivo in my previous role where we built a notification engine for our internal alerts like Pagerduty. Now we also use them in my current company and my experience at both the places has been good. Earlier, we had downtimes with them but this has changed considerably over the last 2 years. I would recommend them as very reliable platform that has not disappointed our team and our company.

Good reliable software
What do you like best? Reliable and user friendly, lot of useful features What do you dislike? Difficult to locate call recordings quickly (cannot search by telephone number) Recommendations to others considering the product: Go ahead, consider that cloud based software is not always as reliable as fixed landlijnes, however you are offered flexibility What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Avoids having to have staff in office

Happy customer for the last 12 months
We started using Plivo just before COVID, and this year we have relied more on them to message our customers. They have an excellent API and well documented examples.I wish someday they add more reporting around deliver rates and times for our teams to view and action.

Nice experience with Plivo
What do you like best? Web console allowing a lot of operations such as creation a phone number and setup an automatic flow. API that is easy to understand and implement. What do you dislike? There should be a price plan without monthly fee. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our company uses Plivo is 2-step sign up verification provider and a channel to notify the client about important actions related to their account.

Competitive price, fantastic support team and a very valuable service.
What do you like best? Plivo’s prices are super competitive, in addition to free incoming SMS in most (if not all) countries. Their support team work very hard and act very professionally. They keep continuing to improve their service, product offerings and uptime which translates across to my own business. What do you dislike? Australian mobile numbers are twice the price of Twilios, and the credits system sucks, I’d much rather pay a monthly invoice. Recommendations to others ...

Happy Plivo customer for the last 2 years
I've found Plivo's documentation to be very detailed. They have made many improvements in the last 2 years, starting with the website, console, docs, and regular communication. It feels like the company is growing, and I am happy to have chosen them as my SMS API partner.

Extremely helpful & friendly
What do you like best? Plivo reps are very helpful and are great at following up! For instance, when we had a number port out without being notified, they did tons of research and found out what day and time, so we were able to go back to the client with the information. Great, reliable SMS and Voice API platform
What do you like best? Their API is very easy to use; Good documentation and sample code. Easy to use console with searchable access to their logs. Pay-for-use billing; no minimum monthly charge. Affordable and transparent pricing. Prompt and responsive support. Don't have to deal with multiple carriers in different countries. What do you dislike? Very Reliable Twilio Alternative
We are a fast growing startup with customers around the globe and we needed a reliable way to reach our customers. We initially started with Twilio, but then later added Plivo as a backup. Now we only use Plivo for all our communication. I am now trying to have my team move to PHLO which will reduce our dev times even more.FYI: Our account also got blocked initially as some of the other reviews mention here, but their support team was great and they helped us set back up seamlessly.
