It is a SCAM website ! be very careful!!

I made a free account in 2007 and back then I was allowwd to upload photos until I reached the 2GB limit. I used only 780 MB. For years, the service was free. One month ago, I wanted to log in to view old pictures and it asked me $5 subscription as a last warning or all content will be deleted. I paid the money and I saved my pictures elsewhere. I then wanted to delete my account but I could not. This month, $5 were automatically talen from my bank account through paypal. I do not wish to ...

Bs company this

BS company this. I signed up with them probably like 15 years ago. Did nothing wrong. I uploaded pics, because i wanted to upload them to different forums. No problems then. Now, is a different story. For years already they are sending me emails giving me three choices, pay 5$ a month or 60 per year. OR WE WILL CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT! Well, i dont want to pay for free stuff so the first few times i ignored them and thought fine, cancel my account. But they dont. They just keep sending me black ...

Disloyal to Long Time Customers

I used Photobucket for many years and never went over storage. Now, they're demanding I pay or they restrict access to my own photos. If you don't want to let me upload additional photos, I get it. But restricting me access like this is just greedy and disloyal.

Not the brightest candles on the cake.

Once upon a time (April 2021) I decided to try out Photobucket. I uploaded 2 or 3 pictures to test the waters, as there was a "Free plan" for 250 images or 2.5 GB worth of photos. Seems to work - something for the future, I suppose. Fast forward.Today is the 23rd of November 2021 and photobucket informs me via eMail, that "Your photos may be subject to deletion. Verify & secure your account today." and "If you take no action, your account will be restricted for your protection." Sounds ...

Cancellation was easy once I found the manage my account link

For the people who receive the alleged warning message about using bandwidth without paying for it, if you look towards the bottom of the bottom of the somewhat glaring message you will see tiny print stating something like "Manage Your Account" if I remember right. To be safe I went directly to Photobucket and logged in to my account. I then removed all my images and contacted Photobucket about canceling my account. The cancellation process was not difficult. I had to send an email ...

Received many emails claiming that my…

Received many emails claiming that my account would be deleted if I dont log in. Upon logging in I see a giant message saying I violated TOS and need to pay. I thought for sure I had fallen for a phishing attempt and a scammer just obtained my login... I felt so stupid. However, it appears this is actually photobucket doing this as many many other have stated here.I cant beleive they actually are using that splash screen- it looks like something a russian scammer would have setup. How can ...

Photobucket has effectivly stolen my photos and held them to ransom…

Photobucket has effectivly stolen my photos and holding them to ransom.A few years ago I saved photos to Photobucket from a holiday with my son in USA.A few months back I was assured that my photos were still there and I should sign in more often to keep the account open. It had always been free as long as I didn't exceed my qotaI've not added to it since and today I logged in to find a very nasty message in red saying I'd infringed their terms and conditions and would have to pay either a ...

Avoid

I logged on for the first time in a while only to find I have to pay to access my photos or I have to delete my account. What a joke!
