Paycor pros and cons

  • Provides a wide range of features, including payroll, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and benefits administration, making it a comprehensive HR platform.

  • Modern platform that is mostly user-friendly and offers integrations for payroll, time tracking, and employee onboarding.

  • Self-service tools like the Paycor mobile app enable employees to access payroll, hours, and pay stubs conveniently.

  • Helps automate hiring and performance reviews, saving significant time for HR staff and managers.

  • Consistently poor customer service with long response times, lack of assigned representatives, and frequent case mismanagement.

  • Error-prone implementation and setup processes, including incorrect payroll filings, data entry mistakes, and tax deductions from the wrong accounts.

What a joke

What a joke! Why do the have live "customer service" people on staff? They can't or won't do anything for the employee and hide behind the phrase "for security purposes, you need to contact your companies' payroll dept. or HR". WHY ARE THEY EVEN ANWSERING CALLS??? This platform is NOT user/consumer/enduser friendly and provides NO HELP for former employees of a company. There is no way to retrieve a final paystub nor a W2. How are they still in business with such BAD service? All flash and ...

Nickel and Dimed: My Experience with Paycor

My company stopped using Paycor in order to join a PEO that would allow us to strengthen our health benefits offerings while keeping costs low. While Paycor missed a quarterly filing or two semi-regularly, the issue was always rectified after a couple of months, and so I did not necessarily feel compelled to change payroll companies. The benefits savings were too good to pass up and so we left Paycor. Surprisingly, customer service responses were better/faster as a deactivated client. We ...

"Terrible product"

What do you like best about Paycor? The color of their logo is orange and bright. What do you dislike about Paycor? Customer service is terrible. We were promised a "team" of dedicated people who understood our needs and our set up, but, that did not materialize. We call customer service, we get someone different every time, and they solve one problem only to create another. What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you? They are not solving any problems. They are only ...

Paycor has the worst customer service…

Paycor has the worst customer service and support for their clients. When you actually get ahold of someone, they don't know anything. It is hard to reach employees to get support. And worse, there isn't a department or option when calling to speak with someone regarding urgent same day payroll issues. They are supposed to be a payroll processing company but it can take 24+ hours to receive a response and then you get a new person each time and basically have to start over explaining the ...

Worst implementation experience ever

Worst implementation experience ever. One hand does not speak with the other. The sales person actually said :we may have bit off more than we can chew with the amount of implementations we are trying to do at one time" What?!? How is that my problem with my issue.

"Partnering with Paycor"

What do you like best about Paycor? The best aspect of Paycor is the accuracy and ability to handle multiple locations and locales for our Team Members. We also like the Paycor app for self-service for our employees. What do you dislike about Paycor? A challenge with Paycor at times is customer service on more intricate situations that are unique or have nuances. What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you? Having all of our Team Members use the Paycor app for ...
