'Support' is non-existent at Patreon

I supported some of my favourite creators via Patreon - but when I changed my phone recently, I couldn't log into my account as my Authenticator app had been wiped. When I contacted Patreon's Support team they (bizarrely) requested my IP address and some sensitive information about my PayPal account. On advice from my partner, who is a cyber security expert, I refused to provide this information over email (an unsecured network) - and Patreon's support person just advised that they ...

Stole my money and deactivated my account

I made an account, paid for a monthly membership to a creator, and for no explanation or reason patreon deactivated my account before I could receive the memberships rewards I ******* paid for. Patreon are gods **** THIEVES, don't use this slimeball site.

Creators page can't be removed

After a creators page is made, it can't be removed, not even by their support team. It's also the default page when logging in, which is frustrating if someone regrets becoming a creator.

Caution: Upfront Payment Policy Enables Scams on Patreon”

This company supports so-called content creators who engage in scams. Do not give them your money. I was scammed because they allow creators to demand upfront payments at the beginning of the month. I subscribed at the end of the month and got charged again on the 1sT. I tried contacting the creator about this without any success. Patreon is simply hiding behind their policies, insisting that I deal directly with the content creator who has not responded to me.

Disrespect at its finest

I can not access to the benefits when I apply for a paid membership since the last quarter of 2022. On February 2024 they found the glitch on my account and they said that they were working on fixing it. Now, on April 2024, they did not fix my account and are blaming me for currently not having an active paid membership.

Patreon supports creators who steal

Buyers beware...when I stopped providing free writing to a content creator, he canceled my membership and kept my money. He also never provided services I purchased and Patreon refused to issue a refund! Can't they see that my membership isn't even complete for the current month? Essentially, they support creators stealing from you because they don't like you. How is this ethical? I would think twice before engaging with Patreon or the creator Hey Sweetie. Both have questionable ethics, and ...

Products not received, Patreon doesn’t give refund

I am a professional photographer and purchased two digital products worth €140 euro from a Patreon creator. Thereafter the creator didn’t send the products and closed its page. Patreon refused to provide a refund, pretending that this is normal.
