What do you like best about Particle? I think that they make the hardware part of doing IoT dev less painful. I don't have a hardware background so programming firmware isn't something I have much experience with. I like that provisioning a new particle device is super easy and that writing firmware and getting it sync'd to your device is simple and can be done over wifi or cellular instead of having to connect with USB.

With its cloud functions, it makes it easier for makers and creators to create IOT products and solve real problems, with less friction. It provides an ecosystem, which reduces dependencies on multiple platforms which helps with easy onboarding, monitoring and troubleshooting of your IOT applications.

What do you like best about Particle? I switched to Particle because of the built-in connectivity. I am a novice at microcontrollers, so anything I can do to simplify the process is well worth it. When I received my first wi-fi Particle (a Photon), and again later when I bought my first cellular unit (an Electron), I was overwhelmed at how quickly the claim and communicate process worked.
