Quick review of what you missed

I used otter.ai to record a coaching session with a coachee. After the session is uploaded I will be able to check out what other questions I could have asked but did not. It reminded me the areas I should look into for future sessions. This is important as I am still trying to improve my coaching skills for the ICF certification.

Otter.ai is clutch for client meetings

I've found Otter.ai to be such a valuable tool to have listening to all my meetings. I'll then use the chat feature to summarize notes for both myself, as well as my clients, and use it to create action "to do" lists following from what was discussed during the meeting. I find I now have to take less notes myself during the meeting and I can focus more on the client engagement.

Great at what it does but not perfect.

As said on the title, it does a good job at transcripting and summarizing meetings, but a word of caution before using this service. The transcript may also include quips from another person attributed to another person because the quip was made while a person was still speaking, and the AI combines the two as if the same person said it. So you might need to either manually remove the quip from the transcription or leave it be, since there's no way to split it. Also, meeting notes have a ...

It is an extremely good tool for saving time. Most of the time I use it to make reports, event summaries or documents on the go. Especially when traveling or in order to save time. It also enables me to get summaries of calls when I need them and speed up communication with my teams.

Otter.ai is your new ai partner

My colleagues was using otter.ai a lot, I was not aware of otter.ai at that time. When I started using it I found it helpful which seems like it is an assistant to you. Many times in meeting when we discuss things we forgot to write, here otter.ai comes really handy it combines all the key points which were discussed, what needs to be done and gives a complete summary even it translate from different languages (which are spoken in meetings). Sometimes when I miss meeting it goes there for ...

Otter Makes Taking Minutes EASY!!

I love how Otter makes taking minutes for meetings EASY as the AI picks up each person correctly. Sometimes I do have to edit the person(s) conversation and the ending/beginning of the next person(s) conversation, but overall Otter is PERFECT! I also LOVE how Otter is able to summarize the meeting with adding "to-do" tasks! The only negative thing is that the "FREE" subscription only allows for 30 minutes when most "meetings' take 1 hour (60 minutes).

Great Efficiency Tool To Have

I mainly leverage meeting summary and real-time transcription functionalities while it's been integrated into MS Outlook and Teams. It has been a seamless experience so far. Though it misses the mark on name recognition, I think this is a very intuitive and powerful tool that helps me demonstrate active listening during calls.
