What do you like best? The compatibility with all the previous versions. Moving to 12c was a simple process with minimal issues. What do you dislike? Not complete support for JSON and XML... What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It is the main corporate DB on most of my clients.

Patching, particularly through Oracle Platinum Services is a challenge. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? What do you like best? Scalability, ease of use, multitenant feature that enables ease of maintainance and dba tasks. What do you dislike? Fact that multi-tenant requires additional licensing. The concept of plug-able databases is revolutionary, the ability to have 'sub-databases' of an application which are interdependent on each other on the same host database gives room to streamline and make the end process more efficient.
