Love it!

What do you like best? It is the best organization and support tool through all stages of the project starting from the inception of the project to completion. I like scheduling everything and this works great for me. Also it is easy to collaborate with people and teams. The user interface is also very intuitive. What do you dislike? I generally have problems printing things from the software. Print to PDF does not work. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Best Open Source Project Management Tool

What do you like best? Task management and team collaboration Agile & Scrum Time tracking, cost reporting and budgeting What do you dislike? User Interface and Occasional Crashes. The uI seems to be at times confusing. Copying of task from one sub project to another is not possible. This is a major overhead if you are planning to have 2 versions for the project. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Tracking of features is ...

Excellent app - would be good to have report exporting

What do you like best? I have been using OpenProject for the past 2 years. I was using Redmine previously in my company before moving to OpenProject. I love the UI offered by OpenProject - it's not as boring or monotonous as Redmine. As a project manager, I constantly monitor the status of bugs reported within my projects. The ease of use in setting up filters and saving these filters privately/publicly is a feature that has helped me within my organization and with my clients. Setting a ...

Powerful tool for project management.

What do you like best? Activity tracker, as too many things happen in a project, to keep track of work packages from mail is pretty difficult. What do you dislike? When trying to copy a work package from one project to another, the comments won't follow, even if the members are same. No collapse view for the list of tasks/features. Recommendations to others considering the product Consider adding a drag-drop option for making work packages child of another. What business ...

Similar to MS Project but without the hefty pricetag

What do you like best? OpenProj is an inexpensive alternative to high-priced applications like MS Project. It is easy to use and not nearly as cumbersome as other scheduling programs. Perfect option for someone looking to create basic project schedules and display timelines in bar chart or calendar form. Easily tracks percentage of task completed, start/end dates, etc. Print to PDF or use Snipping Tool to save as an image file. What do you dislike? Would be nice if files could open in ...
