Deeply flawed system and no responsibility
Deeply flawed system, which large companies are placing far too much faith in. I have power of attorney for my elderly mother and require to be able to instruct her bank (Barclays) on her behalf. Right and proper that Barclay's make me jump through hoops. Very unfortunate that they have chosen Onfido. So here's the problem
So here's the problem. I use a dumb phone. The reason i use it is because the battery life is 2 months between charges. Onfido INSISTS on using a smartphone. So I have to go out, buy a smartphone and then get credit for it, just to go through their verification process. This is INCREDIBLY frustrating. I can't even borrow a friends smartphone to do it on, because then my personal details are all tied to my friends phone number instead of mine. Companies should NOT use onfido. You should ...
