Awful, non-functional time-wasting garbage

I've used a number of id verification services, but Onfido is truly shockingly bad. I cannot use the website where I am due verification just because of Onfido's totally miserable system. Photo of ID - it will be asking over and over and over for a new one. Camera access in browser - works with all other apps and verifications, never had a problem, doesn't work with Onfido, neither on phone nor on Mac.

Terrible Company Software

I need to have an image of my passport verified by eToro who insist on using this company. Despite many attempts to do this to their satisfaction I have failed every time.There is either 'too much glare' or they say it is a blurry photo. So, this means I will be closing my account on eToro because they insist on using this company.

Failed even to get on the site.

I have recently applied for a job at Tesco. I received an email from Tesco giving me a link to the Onfido site. The link sent does not work, as when I try I get a circle that spins twice on the screen and then a blank screen. I cannot even get onto the site. I have tried over 20 times and same result every time.

Works great

Works great. Obviously a lot of people will be unhappy with the extra security measures, so I guess that explains the bad rating. I personally think it's much nicer to just upload a picture rather than bringing your ID to a bank in person.

Awful company

Awful company! My husband has worked for Premier Inn for over 10 years. He got made redundant through covid. Now just got his job back but can't work as he can't pass the background check! My husband has lived and worked here paying tax,national insurance for over 20 years!

Amazing company and products

I was going through these reviews and noticed some people complained about right-to-work checks, It is not only Onfido that provides these, but Tesco reviewers as well and they hold final desicions. Otherwise, the company is really awesome and client NPS scores are all above 8. Full disclosure, I work at Onfido and I can say it is not bad. Just a small vocal minority makes it feel that the product is terrible, which is not the case.

rtw does not load

rtw does not load. when it finally sends it says its not clear enough . no one should need to go through this much stress trying to get an interview for a job.

I am trying to give proof of ability to work with onFido and given birth certificate divorce certificate p60 payslip and national insurance card they have sent 5 emails saying NI card not enough I’ve also sent birth certificate and everything’s else what more can I do please Tesco help as I don’t want to loose the chance of this job!!

Another victim of Onfido

Zero stars!!!! Another victim of Onfido .. their incompetence caused me a job at Tesco. After the online assessment i was sent the link to complete RTW check, after sharing my RTW documents with onfido, within 20 minutes i got unsuccessful on my application. I didn’t know why. But the next day I was called in for an interview which i cleared and was offered the job.
