Horrendous Software!! Like everyone else I have tried…

Like everyone else, I have tried unsuccessfully to upload ID for banking purposes with more than one bank using this awful Onfido software. If you have an Android phone (as probably half the population do) the Onfido verify system probably wont work for you. I've wasted 4 hrs trying to upload photos and have now waited over an hour on the phone for their tek team (still waiting). When verifying my account

When verifying my account, the first page said I needed to take a selfie, and it asked to assign the camera on my phone, front or back. But instead, they didn't ask for a selfie, but a copy of my ID, and it was impossible to change the camera setup. No matter how hard I tried, it said my ID photo was blurry. Verifying on Revolut is a nightmare

Verifying my id card on Revolut is a nightmare. Constantly giving me errors because my head went out of the oval when it wasn't. It had troubles detecting my head because of my hair, but what can I do ? Please fix your system.

Can't take pictures

It would be helpful if ya'll told folks that the app only works on Apple apps. I wasted so much time trying to take a photo on my android phone and windows laptop.

This doesn't work -- I tried to get…

This doesn't work -- I tried to get authenticated for a CIBC savings account offer but the Onfido process kept insisting it needed camera access even though access was enabled -- I checked my phone permissions twice, closed all other apps, closed all bubbles, yada yada, I even restarted everything from scratch using a different browser, but it just wouldn't work -- I eventually gave up in frustration and CIBC lost the business.

Poor system and frustrating to use as a customer - do not recommend companies use this

Poor system. Tried to upload ID and photo and it came up with: ‘You have exceeded the maximum number of authentication attempts and cannot try again’. We had only tried once! Then it kept blocking us saying access forbidden by the server. Then ‘something went wrong’. Had to get several links and 48 hours later we finally got ID verified and documents signed.

Unable to recognize documents

Terrible experience, unfortunately nowadays many companies use these "intelligent services" that are unable to recognize a valid document. Took a scan of a document together and front was ok but back not, how can it be?? A waste of time! Company should stop using these kind of "services". Also who know what these 3rd party services do with our IDs....
