I had no problem adding the DNS A…
I had no problem adding the DNS A records to attach my website I built with Nicepage to the custom domain name I purchased with Namecheap. I really like it when things work out like that, unlike dealing with Godaddy where I can't even forward a domain name to a website I built, dealt with customer service 3 times, no one will fix it.
