Make brainstorming and collaboration with your team fun!

What do you like best? What I like best about this tool is that it is an online whiteboard that also includes templates to help facilitate team meetings. They aren't meant to be dry or boring meetings - MURAL tries to make it fun. If you aren't sure how to facilitate a meeting, follow MURAL's outline on their templates to help guide you. There is a template for innovation which is what my company is working on currently to try to help us evolve. What do you dislike? Zooming in and ...

Infinite, visual co-thinking space.

What do you like best? MURAL provides the most flexible and familiar starting point - a wide open space. While you can start from available templates, I often find that starting from scratch allows notes from a kick-off call to emerge into a visual project stakeholder map, parking lot for relevant resources, articles and shared documents. The ability to use space to sense-make from the myriad types of data any project has is amazingly helpful. It gives you infinite virtual thinking ...

Mural has been a game changer for our planning sessions. 10/10, recommend.

What do you like best? What makes Mural stand out from other tools I've used is the dot voting and timer features. Any Scrum Master who has to work with distributed teams would appreciate and use the hell out of these. What do you dislike? I wish it were easier to link up to Jira. That may be an issue with the way my company is organized though. I'm not sure Mural is seen as a particularly secure environment for official information like what's in Jira. Also, there were live ...

Fantastic Collaboration and a MUST for Remote Teams

What do you like best? Mural allows our very large remote team to share ideas and collaborate as if they are in the same room on the same whiteboard. The standard offering of templates is highly valuable for many activities and ceremonies. This is a MUST for any remote team to innovate together! What do you dislike? Would love the ability to have additional workspaces without an additional fee. Would also like to be able to cut and paste from the Mural into another. What ...

MURAL has been a game changer!

What do you like best? The best part of MURAL is the fact that it enables interactive brainstorming by distributed teams, even asynchronously. What do you dislike? There's nothing I dislike about MURAL Like any application, there are quirks like the Zoom controls, but one gets used to it quickly. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try it. Be sure to try out creating your own murals, as well as using the templates. Also, make sure to stay on top of new ...

A critical tool for collaborative work sessions

What do you like best? It is easy to share an anonymous link and have meeting participants jump into a board and contribute ideas without worrying about logging in. What do you dislike? It takes a while to get used to double clicking to get a new sticky notes and also zooming in and out and dragging around items without pulling the entire board with you. Recommendations to others considering the product: I would recommend that you get stakeholder buy-in so that they ...

Test most easy way to collaborate visually with remote groups and teams.

What do you like best? It's easy to learn and not overwhelmingly complicated. It has all the basic function you need for working with a whiteboard and I absolutely love the data bases with access to a big variety of icons, templates and stock images. What do you dislike? I'd love to see a feature like breakout rooms for groups. Maybe there is something already and I oversaw it. And it would be great at some point to have german translated version of mural, because there's big ...

Great collaboration tool for remote teams

What do you like best? Lots of tools and functionality available including templates, image search, voting and commenting that takes a white boarding experience to the next level. It is simple and intuitive to use, so the learning curve for new users is low. What do you dislike? As with any remote collaboration tool, it can be a challenge to monitor participant engagement due to the missing physical context. However, I do like that you can see when somebody is interacting with the ...

Essential Collaborative Platform

What do you like best? Although Mural excels in collaborating virtually, an essential part of how I collaborate and co-create is in the preparation and the setup of activities and exercises. Mural excels in giving individuals the ability to craft a particular framework for any need. What do you dislike? With certain projects, I iterate on the same mural many times, collecting a large amount of stickies. The performance degrades the more elements are on the page. Recommendations ...
