Mura CMS-flexible, adaptable right out of box
What do you like best? From a support point of view, we have almost no calls from our end-users. Their ability to pick up the product immediately was a huge plus. The development team helped us roll out integration with LDAP and we were good to go from there. What do you dislike? Even though I'm an avid ColdFuser, there are some limits to the amount of plug-ins available when compared with some other packages or languages. I had a harder learning curve initially when writing ...

A top notch CMS
What do you like best? Quick and easy to install and set up. Familiar web interface to people used to Wordpress What do you dislike? There isn't much to dislike about a free, open source CMS of this standard, apart from a slight lack of pre-packaged hosting options What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Allowing non technical users to manage not just content, but approval and change sets

What do you like best? Mura is amazing at creating modern digital websites quickly. I have created specific-purpose websites in a matter of hours using responsive themes. On the other end of the spectrum, Mura is highly customizable. The class extension manager allows you to create forms with any feature you can imagine. You can then power those features further by adding CFML. I am not a programmer and can extend Mura's powerful out-of-the-box features quite easily. Beyond web sites, Mura ...

Highly customizable CMS
What do you like best? MURA is highly customizable CMS, although a strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and ColdFusion is beneficial. What do you dislike? Lack of quality plugins can be frustrating. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We replaced our entire website with MURA.

Mura is a powerful, intuitive, and extensible CMS worthy of use in projects small to large.
What do you like best? The customizability of Mura is great for digging deep on complication implementations. What do you dislike? The are where Mura is lacking is in availability of templates in comparison to other, more well-known systems. Recommendations to others considering the product: Mura is excellent - you won't regret choosing it for your next CMS implementation! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Mura has provided me ...

Versatile Platform for Many Levels of Web Development

Learning to implement some functionality often requires combing through Google Groups. Recommendations to others considering the product Deployment is easy. Customization takes ...

Excellent extensibility built into Mura 7 that I have taken advantage of time and time again.
What do you like best? The plugins and easy extensibility of the built in Mura objects. What do you dislike? Documentation could use to be improved so that it is categorized what is applicable to which version of Mura and there needs to be more documentation in many instances. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We had an aging CMS with no community behind it, so switching to Mura 7 got us into a product that is updated regularly and ...

Mura - so you don't have to reinvent the wheel
What do you like best? ColdFusion developers are used to solving business problems. But the mundane basics - page creation, user management, plugin/modular approach, end up being slighly skewed with every project, and a new idea in one project ends up difficult to implement in a project you worked on a year or two ago. Enter Mura - a great starting point for EVERY project. With a wide variety of visual templates in both Bootstrap and Foundation to start with, your project starts out ...
