Muck Rack takes the admin and guessing out of PR.
What do you like best? The most valuable feature in Muck Rack's offering is the Search functionality. Their database comprises of millions of journalists, editors, podcast hosts, freelance writers, you name it! What do you dislike? Ironically, my favourite functionality is also my least favourite. I find myself requesting profiles to be updated almost daily, but their Editorial Team is super quick to get the job done and let you know as soon as new details have been added. ...

Excellent tools with great customer service
What do you like best? Muck Rack has done a great job integrating a media database with a CRM. It is easy to find reporters, set up a media list, use the platform to pitch directly to those reporters and then track responses. What do you dislike? The interface is generally good but it's not always intuitive. Muck Rack does a good job of providing Help articles and quick help via online chat. What problems are you solving with the product? Well done program, at a fraction of some of the other cloud based press relations databases
What do you like best? Value for the cost of the subscription, best value for the money What do you dislike? Limited number of email listings can be sent at one time Recommendations to others considering the product: Again, great value for the money What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Again, Muck Rack seems to convey all of the benefits of the higher prices services, at a fraction of the cost

What do you like best? I like that I can build robust coverage reports, get automated daily alerts, and easily follow and pitch to a list of journalists. What do you dislike? I've had some difficulty getting the coverage reports to match what I've gotten with other tools; not sure if that's user error or related to the tool's back-end functionality. Amazing Tool!
What do you like best? Muck Rack has been a great tool for me to use to find information on journalists and website UVMs. What do you dislike? Sometimes it's not as updated with new jobs or a change in position or email. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Muck Rack has made it easier to contact journalists about events they may want to cover.

Muck Rack is super user friendly
What do you like best? I have used many media/press databases in the last decade and Muck Rack has been one of the best experiences so far. What do you dislike? A lot of times articles generated in a reporter's profile are repetitive. I understand they are pulled from syndicated sources but I wonder if there is a way to streamline that and show only the original articles and just include a blurb saying "this article appear in X other outlets, click here to find out more." Great for finding and maintaining media contacts.
What do you like best? Up-to-date database, easy to use. Pitching feature is fantastic and I love being able to track open rates. What do you dislike? It's pricey -- worth it, but wish we could afford to have an account for everyone on our team. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
