Cannot Edit Website!!

After the trouble and extra work taken to prepare for the end of Flash and the move to an HTML-based website on Moonfruit, we can suddenly no longer do ANY edits to our website and the home page has gone completely weird with the background image bleeding through the text and images. The Menu commands are all grayed out. We have new products to add to our catalogue, have started promotion and have customers lined up to purchase but we cannot add the items to the site. Am LOSING CUSTOMERS as ...

Terrible mishandling of the Flash migration

Our website which is a not for profit has been working fine for many years. The migration from Flash is a disaster - we can not edit anything and there is no way to make a complaint. Every time I contact the company they say "we will make the edit for you". This is outrageous - we pride ourselves on the design of the site - it is not something we can just hand over to someone else like that. What is going on here? - we need a consumer complaint body on board to fight our case. I will be ...

Moonfruit is awful

Moonfruit is awful! Can now get into my website, but it looks awful, all my files have disappeared, you can’t click onto anything other than edit and files... but, it doesn’t edit, and files have disappeared. It keeps freezing, then crashes! Can’t do a thing with it!I have been working on a Wix website, nearly finished it... then will transfer my domain over to them! And shut my moonfruit account down! Will also ask for a refund, but doubt l will get it!Anyone out there thinking of setting ...

After many years of using Moonfruit…

After many years of using Moonfruit with no issues, we now find we can't edit our site, and as a small voluntary organisation the website was important to us, now with changes with flash player, it as renddered it useless, we are not tech savvy and life is too short to do all the faffing about, what we need is a quick simple fix-please!

Moonfruit needs to change

Moonfruit has hosted a couple of my websites for over a decade with few teething problems encountered. However the migration to a new platform has lost a great deal of content from them and made them look like a 'dogs dinner'. This will take months to put right and have a significant commercial impact from a cost, time and sales standpoint. Prior to the migration I followed their instructions but it had little effect with so much disappearing. At the moment there is very limited ...

Shockingly poor Flash/HTML transit, no current access

First, am so pleased to have just found this page/site and found I am not alone, as has felt since last autumn. As others say, we were told to migrate by 30/11/20 - a process which, itself, was stressful in the extreme thanks to a lack of info and guidance, slow and unhelpful replies from support and frequent outages (my blog 'container' vansihed the day after migration for days until I reported it). Unlike others I did get edit functionality in Dec but suddenly 2 weeks ago as othes find I ...

In the premier league of useless web site hosts!

I first joined Moonfruit 10 years back and it was an excellent easy to use keenly priced webhost with very good site building software for my small business. However whoever has owned Moonfruit this last few years has really ruined it. As of today Moonfruit websites are completely uneditable due to the inability of the absolute fools they employ not realising Adobe flash had finished! This weekends task is to rebuild the website with a professional web hosting service instead and then get ...

Moonfruit used to be brilliant - Now useless!

Moonfruit used to be brilliant! But have to say these past few weeks have been a nightmare!!!I need to make lots of updates on my site and it's impossible!Support is useless!!!! It can take over a day to get an answer. There is obviously now a language barrier issue as the support staff don't seem to understand or care?If this carries on you will lose a customer after eight years!!! Please please please can you get it sorted?

Unable to edit

I went to my Non Flash website for the first time since the change-over as I have masses of edits to make. Heart sank when I couldn't save anything. Messaged them. Could not believe the answer I got back ... the offer to edit my site for me!!! How ON EARTH could they edit my website for me??! Ridiculous! So I Googled Moonfruit editing problems and found this. I find comfort that I am not alone but fury for all our sakes. We are trying to run our businesses ( and times are tough enough as ...
