"Great experience with Mode despite some minor inconvenience"

What do you like best about Mode? Fast querying run time and flexibility to incorporate python code and/or visualizations into dashboards. In addition, it offers a lot of flexibility for explorers. What do you dislike about Mode? Minor inconveniences when it comes to formatting the visualization (e.g., fixed week start day, some axes can't be changed, quick table calculation can't be filtered) What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you? Understanding business metrics and ...

"Reliable, straight forward, and effective customer sevice"

What do you like best about Mode? Lots of reliability in the platform. Rarely experience bugs, and the Mode team is quick to implement fixes when they come up. Also, lots of product updates in the platform throughout our time using Mode. What do you dislike about Mode? Sometimes using the visualization options can be confusing, but once you've practiced it, you feel more confident. Though it's a minor thing, it would be nice if there was a way to organize/pin your dashboard ...

"Powerful, straightforward tool to generate dashboards and reports"

What do you like best about Mode? For the most part, the system is well organized and easy to use. It helps me stay on top of my quarterly KPIs for clients, track productivity and utilization, and I love how the data can generate easy to read charts and diagrams for presentations. What do you dislike about Mode? It's easy to use for those technically inclined. However, I can see how some might struggle when creating more sophisticated reports. Sometimes the reports fail to run and I can't ...

"Nice tool with nice integrations."

What do you like best about Mode? The possibility of working in an integrated environment that makes possible to work with SQL and R/Pythong at the same time. What do you dislike about Mode? I think there is some improvement to do with the visualizations; there are some missing features from tableau that I'd like to have back. What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you? It is fantastic how Mode has helped us to develop automated to that anyone can use.

"Good Tool to use with high flexibility"

What do you like best about Mode? - can easily combine python output with built-in visualizations. - good for code documentation if your analysis includes different data sources or temp tables. What do you dislike about Mode? - each time you switch from/to a chart, the chart will have to be updated. Will be a pain if the data is large. loading time can be 5-6 mins. - The processing time will be slow if your data is large. Especially for user-level data. - The filter function doesn't work if ...

"Excellent tool to visualize your data"

What do you like best about Mode? How easy it is to use and how helpful it is to share insights on business data across all the company. What do you dislike about Mode? If you don't know anything about SQL it makes it difficult to query and visualize data. What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you? MODE is helping all business areas to understand the business on a daily-monthly-yearly basis, thanks to hundreds of KPIs and data visualization. By integrating it with Slack ...

"Mode is simple yet powerful"

What do you like best about Mode? Mode provides basic BI capabilities ala Power BI, and Tableau. It is pretty robust for creating some dashboards exceptionally quickly. Quite commonly, you start with Mode to prototype your idea before implementing it in Tableau to find out you nailed it only with Mode. It has SQL syntax highlighting (something I miss a lot in Tableau Desktop), and integration with Python. What do you dislike about Mode? I wish it had more tutorials on how to use advanced ...

"A very handy tool for creating dashboards and graphical charts"

What do you like best about Mode? Mode is quick and feature rich. Mode had usable features like Exploration, Scheduled Runs, sending automated emails, etc. What do you dislike about Mode? While sending an email with output of a specific query, there is no way to limit the emails only when there is a valid output for the scheduled query. For example, if a user wants to receive an email (alert) only when a query has some output, that is not possible currently. Even if ideally there is no ...

"Everything at once place for a Data Scientist"

What do you like best about Mode? Ease of use when coming to any analysis, easy to find tables and columns, run a query and push it to a Python notebook for advance analytics all within one platform. Once the report are built it is easy to publish and schedule too! What do you dislike about Mode? Not being able to take in ad-hoc data sources, some of visualisations could be made more user friendly. What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you? Single point platform for ...
