So much better than Excel

PROS: Minitab has so many great features and it's super user-friendly. I love the selection of graphs that we could use to present the data. It has a "help" feature that is really great for assisting as we navigate the app. CONS: You would need to allot time to learn it. But once you understand how it work, it's really easy to use.

Data analysis made easier!

PROS: I love the cluster analysis feature! It's straightforward to use and produces excellent results – from importing data to data presentation! It simplifies my work. CONS: Some formula that the program uses does not fit the data I needed. I wish they could improve on the calculation of variance and ANOVA and the correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.

Nothing can beat Minitab!

PROS: It is a powerful, robust, and useful tool for statistical analysis. Specifically, this is best for analyzing the following: Measurement System, DOE, Regression, Hypothesis, and Process Capability. It allows you to finish a task in seconds! CONS: You need to have at least the basic statistical knowledge to use it.

Minitab is a powerful software

PROS: Minitab is not just for instructional use--it can be used in a professional setting too. It has improved over the years and has become more user-friendly in the process. CONS: MS Excel still trumps Minitab when it comes to selected graphs. However, Minitab is working on it and I look forward to the day it becomes more streamlined. They should also consider enhancing the stem plot but it still is functional so it's not a problem.

Statistical software that is easy to use for me

PROS: Minitab has so many tests to choose from and because of that, I can work with a large range of data. It is also very helpful when it comes to choosing the right test so that I do not waste time with the wrong tool. CONS: Minitab leaves little room for additional configurations.

Worth every penny!

PROS: Minitab is affordable and, overall, a highly functional software with tons of great features and user support! I love how easy it is to copy the analyzed data to PPT or Word for reporting purposes. CONS: It's not cloud-based, so I cannot access and use it from another device by just logging in to my account. I also wish they would improve the graphics look because right now, it's not that visually appealing to me.

Super good software

PROS: It can analyze large datasets in different ways with just a few clicks. CONS: The user interface can be more optimized and intuitive. It would also be helpful if the graphs can be edited once it's created.

Highly recommended for my fellow analyst!

PROS: Minitab is capable of analyzing large datasets and those with multiple variables. CONS: You would need to divide datasets to have a more detailed analysis. I hope they could improve on this.

My experience of using Minitab in the engineering industry

PROS: Minitab has helped me discover what is the problem with a system we have on-site. It has a user-friendly design of experiments tool too which has helped me in that regard and other projects. Apart from that, it has a highly functional and reliable Taguchi tool. CONS: Minitab should redesign its interface to be more pleasing to the eyes. Other than that, there is no problem.
