A good tool for brainstorming.

Stay away - sneaky, unfair subscription model

I used this program for my team a year ago and actually forgot about it. Then with no warning I get an invoice after my credit card is charged for $317!! I contacted them to ask them to refund this and unfortunately used PayPal. They said it's not their policy to issue refunds - it would be unfair to other customers - really? and per their policy when you sign up and in small in their T&Cs. All they were willing to do is trade licenses to someone else or change to a free account in late ...

Great but not a mature tool yet

I like this mindmap tool very much. But it seems not being able to reach maturity over the years. Among the various defects, the fact that you may occasionally lose data is probably the most annoying one. There is no "save" button, so you think it's saving automatically but it might not always be the case. Where offline tools are indicated, I would rely on a online one only if very very reliable.

Great but not a mature tool yet

I like this mindmap tool very much but it seems not being able to reach maturity over the years. Among the various defects, the fact that you may occasionally lose data is probably the most frustrating one. There is no "save" button, so you think it's saving automatically but it's not. You still have to close, reopen, while hoping that your internet connection is healthy, then it likely saved your work and you will see it loading back.

The mind maps are really helpful!

Don't give this company your credit card details.

Very unfair payment process. I hadn't logged in to MIndMeister for a year, received no email notification from them at all and then was sent an invoice out of the blue for £70+. I contacted them to ask them to refund this as it was unexpected, and they said it's not their policy to issue refunds and it's also not their policy to notify customers prior to charges being placed on their cards. Perfect for project creation.

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I love the support that this tool gives in the initial stages of our project planning. It doesn't impose and respects our processes. I can also create maps under bigger maps so that we can really drill down on the essentials. If you subscribe to the paid version, it can also convert your maps to PDF files.
