"Mimecast is really one of the most full featured Email protection platforms around."

What do you like best? The configuration ability. The system is very configurable and support is there to help What do you dislike? At first when we started the configuration was intimidating. I didn't know what I didn't know. Recommendations to others considering the product: Do it. Once you learn it the platform is POWERFUL. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Lots of spam email. DKIM outgoing (not offered with Exchange on prem).

What do you like best? Spam and malicious email blocking. I never realize how much crap gets sent to us that we never see until I go into the admin console and see them. What do you dislike? The admin console is cumbersome to use. If I want to look at Attachment Protect, if have to go to multiple locations depending on if I want to release an attachment, setup a policy, or reporting. What do you like best? Outlook plugins, daily hold queue email. What do you dislike? Configuration complexity (very grainular) Recommendations to others considering the product: While we do have false positives, they could easily be remediated by loosening our policies. Mimecast has done a great job of filtering the bad while letting the legit through. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Email archiving and spam type email filtering.

What do you like best? Mimecast offers a variety of services to protect end users from potential security threats via email. There are highly customizable policies that can protect end users from malicious attachments, phishing attacks, etc. Also great customer service! What do you dislike? What do you like best? With Mimecast, we do not have to worry about email security like before. Most issues are taken care of. What do you dislike? No real downsides that I have seen as a client facing IT specialist. It is easy to use and does what we want it to. What do you like best? The protection it provides is excellent, and has done a better job at catching malicious emails than other products we've used in the past. What do you dislike? It is slightly cumbersome to navigate, with some settings not being very easy to define and implement. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our end users receive less spam and malicious email than before, limiting our exposure to viruses, malware, and ransomware.
