"Publisher: easy but not mind-blowing"

What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher? I use this software to make our (very large) quarterly newsletter. I love that it's extremely easy to use. Anyone familiar with other MS Office products should be able to pick this up right away. It's nowhere near as complex as Adobe InDesign or similar products.
