What do you like best? The developer friendly application is plus where one doesn't have to pay for full fledged development. Different level of licensing are useful for many business cases. Fantastic Flexible Tool for BI, plus it's FREE (with Office 365)

What do you like best? Microsoft Power BI is a great business analysis tool that has tons of integration options (including a NATIVE Salesforce integration!) and just so happens to come with a license key with every Office 365 license. It's not Tableau BUT the cost savings and accessibility across any role in the company without having to pay extra is an absolutely massive strength. I've also had a great experience with their support team who helped me figure out a very confusing ...

reporting made easier, if not exactly dummy-proof

What do you like best? Power BI is a strong complement to the list functions in SharePoint. What do you dislike? As a non-tech expert, I've been finding it more challenging than I expected to get my reports to auto-refresh with current data. Product as a whole gets great results, but far less intuitive than it purports to be. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Real-time reporting on data -- SUCH an improvement over static excel ...

Great tool for complex BI solutions

What do you like best? Great tool for complex BI solutions. Started using this at my new job after working with Qlikview. Pricing is much better and because it is a Microsoft product it is posible to integrate it. What do you dislike? It's hard to learn the compelxity from the tool. It's a different language. So you need training. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Making complex dashboard and BI solutions instead of Excel reports.

PowerBI is great!

What do you like best? It's very easy to bring in multiple data sources, the built-in editor is simple for a non-technological user. What do you dislike? I wish there was more customization with the visuals. It's a microsoft product so it should have all the functionaliy of PowerPoint. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's a trouble to learn but it's very valuable once you master it, What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

All Things Power BI

What do you like best? Power BI is an excellent data visualization tool, and is every bit as developed as Tableau. This software really shines if your organization already has a full stack of Microsoft software such as Excel for flat file data preparation, or Microsoft SQL Server for connected live stream data. The visualizations that can be created with this tool are rich and feature packed, and make it easy to quickly gain the key points from your mission critical data. What do you ...
