Azure is great for startups!

What do you like best? I love the BizSpark and student programs. It's helped our team get servers running quickly and very cost effectively while working to get our product into production. What do you dislike? I dislike the unexpected down times and server crashes. I dislike how sometimes VMs randomly disappear and the only way to get them back is to respin them. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Azure lets you get servers up and ...

Enterprise class global hosting

What do you like best? Azure enables you to create enterprise class infrastructure and application (web and mobile deployments in the cloud within minutes. The management interface can be a bit clunky, and the support could be improved but on balance it's still a fantastic platform. Recommendations to others considering the product If Windows ...

With their Software Development Kit (SDK it's easy to develop a true cloud oriented application and the option to deploy from a Source Control Management (SCM makes it a breeze to have your code live. Azure IaaS

What do you like best? The feature set, speed of improvements and new features, competitive cost, "lift & shift" capabilities What do you dislike? It can be slow for documentation to appear, particularly for technical aspects of the solution, such as PowerShell Recommendations to others considering the product Look at ways to move existing systems to PaaS where possible in order to benefit from cheaper & more robust/scalable solutions rather than migrating & leaving unchanged legacy ...

Best Cloud VM solution

What do you like best? Support is amazing, each time we had a question was answered fully in satisfactory time. The reliability and scalability is much better then previously worked with Amazon or VMWare's vCloud. Deployment is easy with predefined VMs, just couple of clicks and you are up and running. What do you dislike? The predefined VMs sometimes too basic, the number of things you can configure is limited. Better off doing your own "VM". Noticed few times the web portal was ...
