Effective way to discover people who talk about your brand online.

What do you like best? We loved using Mention to discover content to share on social media, places where we were mentioned in the news, and for monitoring what our haters would say about us. What do you dislike? It takes a little bit of time at first to train the platform to not bring in loads of spam websites. Additionally, it doesn't have a way to identify whether it is bringing in your own social media posts or those from others. It would be nice if it could pick up when ...

Effective tool for monitoring and control of social networks

What do you like best? The software's user interface is clean and easy to use, something very particular is that you can configure the color of an alert if you want to have a more specific reference, it also allows us to see every time someone mentions us, it has an accurate tracking and never publications are lost, it is the best solution for small businesses, summaries are also very useful, the support is very responsive and works very well, also the native web application makes it ...

Ideal tool for web management

What do you like best? Mention allows me to act quickly and ensure the veracity of the information available. Its tools are complementary to any of your current platforms that allow you to monitor, it keeps you updated so that you can respond to your customers in real time. It is a generous program that entices users to work with the program to build their brand and market more effectively to more readers. What do you dislike? Cost is always an issue, but Mention has managed to ...

Awesome & Vital

What do you like best? Its the best tool to monitor all of the social media and web mentions in one hand. Also the Slack integration is the best part of it. I loveIt! It is the first tool that I set up whenever I started to work in a business. Also their customer support team always on the other side to reply your questions or help you to overcome the obstacles that you faced. Last time I asked them a question and it takes minutes them to reply. What do you dislike? Nothing ...

Constant management platform for social networks

What do you like best? It is a useful tool that allows me to customize the board, the user interface of the software is clean and easy to read. Mention scans the web daily to track mentions about our company, it's great that it allows users to download an Excel file with the data. It provides the opportunity to very easily track who is talking about us, to be able to configure monitored pages, sources, keywords and makes it easy to quickly scan and see all the latest mentions that you ...

Something of a Mystery

What do you like best? I sometimes get feedback on my internet activity What do you dislike? 1 I don't know why my activity is reported sometimes and not others. 2 I have no one at Mention who can guide me on how to get relevant/the best results with their platform. 3 I get a lot of irrelevant Mentions concerning people with the same name as me. There should be a way to exclude their activity being reported to me. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try ...

The worst support I've ever experienced

I've been using the tool for 2or 3 years now, for different projects and companies. Must say, it finds some alerts and fails with others. If you have a company name that's also a common word, you'll face a lot of difficulties. And my personal suggestion - never, never turn to their support team. It's an absolute waste of time.Check guides, experiment yourself, you might figure it out. The support team will only get you upset and you'll feel yourself the most unvalued customer ever. Here's ...

Nothing for long-term: Expect prices to skyrocket quickly and they will kick you put without any warnings

I was one of the early adopters of this service. I didn't use it often but once or twice a year I logged in to do some keyword research. During my last login I realised Mention.com had moved my account from my paid plan to a free plan. When I emailed them and asked why is that, they replied "this has been decided internally and I could choose one of the new plans". So without any warning or regret they kicked me out and now ask for more than 20x (!!!) the monthly price I paid before. This ...
