PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I like how it gets things done in terms of development. The hassle involved in setting up a database from the beginning is no longer seen in here. Deployments are done on the fly. That means, I get to play around with the UI and UX --- where most value can be seen and felt. Debugging is simple and transparent. What aspects are problematic or could work better? PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Mendix does an excellent job in kickstarting things off for you. It lets you dive into things shortly after. There's no need to have a background in development. It's great to no longer worry about a database setup. It's pre-installed debugging guides you to the root cause. It'll tell you which areas need to be fixed. What aspects are problematic or could work better? Medix is lacking certain features. These include e-mail ...

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Mendix gave me the opportunity to convert ideas into working prototypes at blistering speeds. It's great to show your ability to business stakeholder on working prototypes in a matter of hours instead of days, or days instead of weeks/months. When the app is launched and it comes to maintenance, its model-based development allows other people's "code" to be readable. If you're in need of added power, Java is a matter of clicks away. ...

Fast development with great logic and easy integration.

What do you like best? The development environment of Mendix is just great: easy, out of the box tools combined with a great logic leads to fast development. What do you dislike? Sometimes the UI could do with a boost, but the Mobile Native First is offering some great help. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? App development lifecycle became so much shorter so much more User stories finished in a shorter amount of time.

It is hard to do code reviews because there is no good tool to watch differences in between commits. What do you like best? Building an app connected to a database, with decission logic in an easy way. What do you dislike? It requires effort to connect to SAP cloud foundry.. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It is possible to build an app on its own, but also connect to other applications like SAP for reading data.
