Great Concept, UX needs improving.

What do you like best? Tagging, detailed metadata, controlling user access, no duplicate files uploaded, sending out lightboxes What do you dislike? no dragging and dropping, no drag highlighting, you have to individually pick files you want or select the whole page which seems so dated. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? single point of access for assets across organization.

Good - integrations need improving

What do you like best? Mediavalet is a great solution for a multi-user DAM. The search functionality and upload process are very intuitive and robust. My team is able to find what they need with little help from me. What do you dislike? The integrations need lots of work. The PowerPoint integration for Mac works great with drag and drop functionality but still doesn't work properly for PC (which most of our team uses). Great for external use, storing files

What do you like best? I like how easily external people can access files. Certain departments only need access to certain folders so MediaValet helps with the filtering of data. What do you dislike? That you can't rename files within the program. I find myself deleting files, renaming on desktop and reuploading because my organization has naming conventions that overlap. What do you like best? I like being able to find everything in one place, the search is good, and the revisions. What do you dislike? My Wacom tablet doesn't work well, I spoke with David MacLaren and the team at Adobe MAX and will follow up as well. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Revisions with sales and marketing collateral. One less step for us when it's at their fingertips.

This is robust platform and easy to use

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? We managed to move all our assets (logos, guidlines, colors and typeface) to this platform and to move photography and other additional digital assets. I like that the collections are useful for access control. We look forward to use the brand monitoring feature so we can track our digital footprint and to update our company’s visual identity. All you have to do is to send Brandfolder link to your members so they can easily download bios, logos, videos and other materials.
