What do you like best about Maya? Very powerful tool for animation and has a lot of library tools to create complex animation. Rigging can be achieved using some MEL programming. Available in Windows and Linux. What do you dislike about Maya? Complex and difficult to learn. Lack of visualization. UI needs to be better. What do you like best about Maya? Maya is best for modelling and animation. Very easy to use if you learn. Very useful for 3d animation What do you dislike about Maya? Not easy for beginners. Have to learn perfectly before using it.. Recommendations to others considering Maya: Very useful if you learn correctly What problems is Maya solving and how is that benefiting you? I make many animation projects with this software.

"Powerful Tool, takes some effort to get used to"

What do you like best about Maya? The fact that everything that you can possibly think of doing can be done within Maya. What do you dislike about Maya? The fact that one still has to use additional softwares to model, texture etc. What problems is Maya solving and how is that benefiting you? I am just starting to learn Maya and hope to use it in future projects.
