Useful for research
What do you like best? Majestic offers a lot of information about keywords for SEO purposes. You can also pull information about backlinks, to see if there may be any backlinks to disavow. Basically, it does quite a lot! What do you dislike? It can be challenging to navigate. It seems like every time I log in, things have moved around and I can no longer find the tools I was just using last week. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you're planning to check ...

Great for SEO
What do you like best? Gives an accurate snapshot of a website's SEO health as far as backlinks, referring domains, trust flow, citation flow, and a monthly snapshot of new links acquired. It's also useful for competitor research -- to mine their links and referring domains, and to give a client an accurate view into how their website is doing compared to competitors. The tool is available at a low cost, >$100, and you have the ability to save reports. What do you dislike? ...

The Gold Standard in the Reverse Index of the Web
What do you like best? The Fresh Index and the Site Comparison tools are among the strongest for back link proifling and tracking over time. What do you dislike? While Majestic is one of the strongest, most established brands in the market for all-things backlink, they are behind the times when it comes to tracking and trending social share metrics at the URL level. A result, I feel this tool is only 50% relevant to the work I do in SEO in 2015. Recommendations to others ...

We always use Majestic for backlink analysis
What do you like best? In a lot of our powerpoint presentations for clients, we use Majestic in the backlink analysis section. We like providing them with metrics such as trust flow, citation flow, and referring domains. Majestic seems to update their product frequently and are usually on top of the latest trends. What do you dislike? I feel like their reports could be a little better. Definitely could use more client facing PDF reports. I usually have to export and format it. ...

My backlink tool of choice!
What do you like best? The comprehensive data provided in their reports has proven very useful when analyzing a clients backlink portfolio to discover trends and assist in creating new SEO strategies. What do you dislike? The only thing I have discovered that I would choose to improve is to crawl the web more often. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? This tool greatly helps in developing new SEO strategies, I have been able to ...

Powerful tools - worth every dollar
What do you like best? Search Explorer provides additional capability. I can see which sites are ranking for the keywords in the niche I am researching. That gives me value in a number of ways. What do you dislike? That's a tough question. I love Majestic. One thing I would like to see more of is tools aimed at helping me discover potential keywords based on supply/demand. Recommendations to others considering the product: Go into it with an open mind. Don't try to defend ...

Most innovative link research tool
What do you like best? I do like the most prominent features: Hugest index, lots of analysis options, etc. But the reason I like this platform is that they are constantly innovating: From releasing their own search engine (allowing us to understand search much better) to gamification components just a few weeks ago. They always have great features coming up! What do you dislike? I am on Retina display and some of the icons blur to me... Not sure if that deserves mentioning here (I ...

Stunning Backlink Analysis and Competitor Research
What do you like best? The amazing site explorer gives me a detail analysis of all the links to my website and also the competitors. I even like using Search Explorer, Backlink History, Keyword Checker and Compare Tool. Out of all, the Trust Flow and Citation Flow is something which comes super handy in checking any website details at a glance. What do you dislike? Nothing much as of now, but I would love to see some features to be added in like SEMRush, where the list of all the ...

A helpful snapshot of your backlinks
What do you like best? Majestic's banklink analysis (and basic visualization) is very helpful. It's super easy to use, and you can even get reports from the free version of the tool. What do you dislike? While informative, the Majestic tool isn't what you'd call pretty. Meaning, you can't take a visual and drop it directly into any sort of client-facing deck, but you'll be able to digest information fairly quickly. Also, the indicator that shows whether a link that's in the ...
