Magento Commerce 1 - Great platform for mid-large ecommerce companies.

What do you like best? Magento Commerce 1 makes it easy to manage products, categories, and page content all in the CMS, as well as create customer segments based on customer attributes. What do you dislike? Magento is inflexible when it comes to product grid arrangement and isn't great about editing the header or footer on specific pages. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Greater customer record management, easy product management. ...

I would consider it a launching pad to whatever you want to do in eCommerce. With what seems like an endless list of extensions and third-party integrations, and the flexibility of the extensible open-source code it is not hard to make Magento do exactly what you want without altering stability. What do you dislike? We find support to be pretty ...

Good Overall Experience

What do you like best? Can be customized in many different ways. We were able to build a website from scratch to meet our needs and fulfill the needs of our shoppers. What do you dislike? Because it is so customizable, making changes can sometimes be challenging without the help of a developer. Recommendations to others considering the product: A great platform for creating an e-commerce site, but make sure that you have an expert available to help navigate through the many ...

The system is so outdated and not user friendly like other platforms. Recommendations to others considering the product: Check out other platforms first as they are more user friendly and can now do pretty much the same thing as Magento. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are ...

Great Platform

What do you like best? Has all the bells and whistles. Much better than WooCommerce. Lots of built in features, eliminating the need for plugins. What do you dislike? The only problem I have with it is that the development work is tricky, and requires a developer that knows what he's doing, and is Magento certified. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure you have a good developer that you can trust, and afford. What problems are you solving with the ...
