It's a really bad tool
It's a really bad tool, never pay for it. It doesn't work properly, they don't give you your old videos after the subscription ends, but you pay for them. I do not recommend.

"Bugs and having to install a plug-in make it inconvenient"
What do you like best about Lookback? I like that we can invite our own users for usability testing, whether moderated or not. I like that it records the sessions and stores them. It is convenient to be able to create different projects and add descriptions. What do you dislike about Lookback? Users have a lot of difficulty with the plug-in, which sometimes causes no-shows. I found out that some of the users came to the session, but we could not see each other for some reason. What problems ...

Unreliable and limited
We've been using Lookback for several years at my company and we have always experienced tech issues. The reason we haven't moved away yet from it is because of the burden of having to migrate all the videos to a different platform, but after yet another round full of issues we're definitely going to discard this awful tool once and for all. "Great tool for interview capturing"
What do you like best about Lookback? I never had any difficulty navigating through Lookback. The UI is easy to figure out, it's easy to integrate into other platforms, video is easy to analyze and splice. What do you dislike about Lookback? Lookback is a remote user interview tool, that does what it's supposed to do well. When we were using it they didn't offer a transcription tool that would have been valuable to have but they may have upgraded it since we used it a couple years ago. What ...

"A great tool for getting the whole team onboarded on the user side"
What do you like best about Lookback? What I like the most is that many people can observe the interviews live and comment on what is happening with the interviewer. What do you dislike about Lookback? nothing in particular. "Great for observation by multiple team members"
What do you like best about Lookback? My favorite feature was that a participant during a user interview has no idea how many other observers are there. It's so valuable for team members (designers, engineers, product, etc.) to hear things directly from users during a testing session; however, in some tools, they can see every person on the call. "Great tool for remote usability testing!"
What do you like best about Lookback? When lookback works, it's absolutely perfect! Most users go through the installation process just fine because of the clear instructions. Audio and video are usually pretty clear (but this depends on the user's bandwidth). I LOVE the notes with timestamping and the ability to have observers go back and rewatch sessions!
