We have been long-time users of LiveChat and have gained numerous deals thanks to the platform, for which we are truly grateful. Unfortunately, for many years, they have been unable to resolve the issue of random logouts, and integrations frequently break on their own. The most recent update has been a complete nightmare. The app barely functions. I constantly receive the message 'You are offline,' and hitting retry does absolutely nothing. Restarting the app only provides a temporary fix. ...

It's nuts. I received an email from this company (and looked it up and trashed it). There's no info about the company it represents. It could be from cable - rcn/astound because I kept using chat but looped like crazy. Associated with hackers and hacked google and youtube accounds. Had my youtube hacked and hjjacjed and this live chat is one of the apps theu where using to scam my followers. I strongly advise against choosing any small organization for your needs. The reason is that any minor feature often incurs an additional cost. I was unaware that some extremely basic features required extra payment, making it incredibly challenging to use the service effectively. While the people are helpful and I had no issues with them personally, small businesses are definitely not recommended. It is impossible to speak with someone through this chat!! I have been trying for a week and stayed in waiting for more than 1.5hr!!!!! From customer experience prospective, please improve this app and maybe consider that is not ready for being in use!!!!!!!!

Refuses any refund no matter the reason

I logged into my account to cancel or downgrade. The cancelation was not pro-rated so I decided to try and downgrade to a cheaper account for a few months. The chat agent said I had to resubscribe. I did this and clicked the wrong button and paid for 12 months. I immediately changed this to one-month billing. The chat agent refused to offer a refund. I am filing a Visa dispute.

Literally unbelievable how corrupt…

Literally unbelievable how corrupt these people are. I added a user to my account not realizing the cost was $230+ per year! So then I emailed them literally 3 minutes after adding the user (I have the emails to prove it) telling them I didn't realize the cost associated with adding the user and to please refund the money since I deleted the new user. They wrote back "Hello, As per our Terms of Use, we do not offer refunds for any downgrades in subscriptions."

Used LiveChat on the TheLadders.com site. They are the most canned response chat support I've seen in a long time. Generic AI without any context would do better. I don't like to submit negative reviews, but had to. I need to warn people away from using them. My impression is that the support agents are given a couple dozen canned responses and that is all they use.
