It’s a topnotch open-source, free office app

PROS: I've been loving LibreOffice ever since I started using it because it's so intuitive and features-packed. I've been using it for my professional work and it delivers. I'd say its key strengths are: being free, stable, cross-platform compatible, multi-language support, good community, and open-source. CONS: Nothing much. I mean, it's a powerful and stable office solution with a good community to back you up in case you need assistance. But I guess there are still some compatibility ...

I make my documents at home using LibreOffice

PROS: It's an open source computer tool that allows us to produce various types of documents like databases, presentations, spreadsheets, and texts among others. We send documents through emails. Also, we can use this tool in both the Windows and Linux OS. Thanks to this, we can visualize files without too much hassle. CONS: Configuration of this tool is done through the command line or console so if you're not familiar with that then it'll be tricky. Also, some of the documents created ...

Amazing office suite

PROS: I first used LibreOffice back when I was still a student so I really don't have any experience with other solutions to make a comparison with. Therefore, my evaluation is solely based on my experience with the app itself. To start with, LibreOffice is an office solution that contains a processor for presentations, slides, simple database, word, and spreadsheet. Now that I'm a professional and is using this for my work, I actually don't feel the need for installing a paid solution ...

"Good Alternative"

What do you like best about LibreOffice? The best part of this Office Collection Suite is that it is absolutely free, Unlike MS Office they do not charge a subscription fee, The Product can be downloaded on the web and can be used on a various platforms such as iOS, Windows, Linux. It is an Offline product. On a day to day usage it seems fine for basic tasks. What do you dislike about LibreOffice? At this point I would say it hangs, Freezes mid way while typing, Customization is limited and ...

This is my favorite office suite for Windows

PROS: There's no need to purchase an expensive license to avail and use this app's full features and I love that. It's an amazing alternative solution for paid office suites that could be used for academic, home, and professional needs. The last update has brought a lot of improvements that right now I already consider this equal or even greater than MS Office. Some of the improved features are the macros which can now run a lot faster and the language that has undergone a significant ...

"free office toolkit with variety of functionality."

What do you like best about LibreOffice? interesting set of computer tools, the truth is a very pleasant alternative for everyone since it is a suite that contains word processors, spreadsheet, presentations, database, drawing among many other options and all this for free since the use of this program is completely free. What do you dislike about LibreOffice? Although it is a very good tool, I consider that it should have a better performance in its updates, I believe that its options and ...

"LibreOffice is a great free alternative to Office"

What do you like best about LibreOffice? LibreOffice provides a great majority of the features one would expect from a full-price document editing suite, and it does it not only free, but Open Source. What do you dislike about LibreOffice? LibreOffice has a small learning curve for employees who are used to Office interfaces, and might need some training before they can be independently proficient in it. Recommendations to others considering LibreOffice: The only meaningful feature that ...

"I can perform most major office activities with this software suite"

What do you like best about LibreOffice? The interface is simple to use, at least for the standard features like writing text documents and spreadsheets. I can save to several common file formats. I can load files that were created in other office suites. The low cost makes it virtually unbeatable if budgeting for software is an issue. What do you dislike about LibreOffice? I think Libre has been mostly satisfactory. I can't really complain since I'm not paying lots of money for it through ...
